Jon D. Rock

Jon Rock is an Assistant General Agent and Financial Advisor for the O’Keefe Agency with the Knights of Columbus serving brother Knights and their families in Frederick County and Eastern Shore Maryland. Jon has been a member of the Knights since 2007 and became a Field Agent for the Order in 2016.

When asked why he became a field agent, Jon said, “I became a field agent because I wanted to work for a company that aligns with my Catholic faith; a place where ethics, morals, and my faith matter.”

Jon is originally from Upstate New York and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science from Rutgers University in New Jersey.

Prior to becoming a field agent, Jon started his career in the food industry, working for companies like General Foods and Smucker’s, progressing into the sales environment. Jon has been in sales for over 30 years, even owning his own home improvement business.

Jon has worked hard to service his members with high quality standards. He routinely achieves qualifying as a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and has been Agent of the Year at his agency several times. He was also the U.S. and Canada leader in Long Term Care sales twice. To offer even more holistic service to his members, Jon acquired his securities license and became a Financial Advisor. This allows him to offer Knights of Columbus Mutual Funds.

Jon currently resides in Frederick Maryland. Jon is an avid fisherman and enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and hanging out with his best friend and wife of over 34 years- Linda

Jon has 2 adult sons- one an RN at John’s Hopkins in Baltimore and the other a professor at Penn State.

Jon’s philosophy: Just like why people meet with their medical doctor every year for an annual physical, Jon wants to meet with each member every year for their “financial physical”, as it’s just as important.
